今回の動画は【 There の文（４）】です。
ここでは、there を使った「～がありますか」や「～がいますか」とたずねる there の疑問文および答え方について学習したいと思います。
きほんの英文の確認と文法の解説
最初に、次のきほんの英文を講師と一緒に確認しましょう。

| Is there a post office near here? -Yes, there is. | 【語順】 ありますか 郵便局は この近くに? -はい、あります。 【意味】 この近くに郵便局はありますか。 -はい、あります。 |
【文法の解説】
例文は、be 動詞の Is + there + a post office + 場所を表す near here + ? という語句の並びでできています。「～がありますか」や「～がいますか」とたずねる場合は、be 動詞を先頭にして、～にあたる名詞が単数なら Is there ～? という形を使い、～にあたる名詞が複数なら Are there ～? という形を使います（ Are there ～? については、疑問文の中では「少しでも」という意味を表す any と組み合わせて Are there any ～? という形でもよく用いられます）。there の疑問文に対する答え方に関しては、「はい」の場合は Yes, there is. のように Yes, there + be 動詞. の形を使い、「いいえ」の場合は No, there is not.（=No, there isn’t.）のように No, there + be 動詞 + not. の形を使います。
英文の確認と声に出す練習①
次に、there の疑問文および答え方の例をひとつひとつ確認していきましょう。
